Dock Characteristics
OPERATIONAL RESOLUTION
Maximum draft to dock at the Dock is 5.8 meters for a ship of 95 meters in length.
In the areas farthest from the coast, the depth is 7 meters and in the area closest to the coast, where the dock reaches 70 meters in length, the depth next to the dock is 6 meters.
Maximum draft of ships that have previously unloaded oversized packages is approx. 5.4 meters and the maximum length of 126.5 meters. There has been berthing with ships bow North and bow South, according to the location band of the cranes in the ship, to facilitate the unloading of the packages it transports.
The Asimar Dock has a total length of 96 meters and a useful width of 11.6 meters. The surface is supported by 51 piles (17 deep by 3 wide), at an average distance of 6 meters, which are 1.5 meters in diameter.
On the surface of the dock there are 8 mooring bollards and the Dock also has a mooring buoy for ships of up to 7,000 TM displacement, located to the NW of its head.

Special conditions Tugboats and Boats for Maneuvers
| Cargo Vessels of more than 83 meters in length, will use two (2) bollard pull tugs equal to or greater than 30 tons for docking and undocking. plus a boat with the capacity to pass spies. |
| Bunkering-type Oil Vessels, with bow lateral propeller, will use for berthing and unberthing, one (1) bollard pull tug equal to or greater than 17.2 tons. In the case of not having a bow lateral propeller, 2 must be considered tugboats with the same characteristics. |
| Vessels up to 83 meters in length with a bow thruster, will use one (1) bollard pull tug equal to or greater than 17.2 tons for berthing and docking. same characteristics. |
| A boat with the capacity to pass spies will be used. |
Operational Limits:
| Wind | Less than 12 knots. |

| Fog | Restricted maneuvers (will evaluate at the time). |
Observations and/or security provisions:
| Foreign-flagged ships must consider the permanence of a pilot on board during the stay of the ship docked at the dock. |
| To maneuver with ships over 83 meters in length, the fishing mooring buoy located near the entrance channel to the dock must be removed. |
| The mooring and unmooring will be with two pilots for vessels of more than 83 meters in length. |
| Vessels that dock or set sail in a fully, partially or empty loaded condition must consider the amount and distribution of ballast necessary to keep their propeller always submerged in conditions to maneuver safely in accordance with the corresponding Stability Book. |
